The Mission is to provide life preserving emergency services to all residents of the Leech Lake Reservation residing within our Primary Service Area (PSA) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will ensure availability; accessibility and high quality emergency care to our residents and constituents.

The Leech Lake Ambulance/EMS is a Tribally owned Ambulance Service that is licensed by the state of Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board. The Ambulance Service is a Basic Life Support (BLS) that operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

The Primary Service Area (PSA) includes all areas between north Pennington to County Road 39 south of Cass Lake to approximately 1 mile east of Bena and west to the Midge Lake area.

The Ambulance Service provide medical coverage at many community events such as Pow Wows, Boxing, High School Football games, Cass Lake Water Carnival and any other events upon request. We participate in health fairs with an information booth, demonstrations, tours, and visit with Head Start and elementary students.
